As a Certified Mastectomy Fitter (CMF), we have extensive training and experience working with breast cancer survivors who have undergone a single or double breast mastectomy. Our goal is to support our client’s physical and emotional well-being because we understand every woman’s breast cancer survivor journey is different. Our team is dedicated to helping women feel more comfortable and whole again. During your fitting, we will ask you questions so we can understand more about you and your lifestyle so we can ensure well-fitting and comfortable breast forms whether you’re going out to dinner or on vacation at the beach. We will also help you with selecting mastectomy bras and swimwear that are made to fit your new breast forms. Everyone has their favorite little black dress, top or bra, so we encourage you to bring them to your fitting so we can help find the right bra that will work with what you’re used to wearing.
Post-Surgical Bra Fitting
A post-surgical bra might be a better choice if you have a recent surgery and you are still experiencing swelling. Before selecting a breast form, our staff will fit your existing breast with a properly fitting bra. Next, we will try a variety of breast forms to achieve the proper symmetrical shape. Everyone has a different shape after surgery. In fact, you may try a few prostheses before finding the perfect one for you.
